Being a pupil from the Information technology field, I am aware of the circumstances through which IT students cross from. IT being so wide and flexible, there are several levels, platforms and technologies throughout the globe. The actual problem arises to choose amongst one of them as your career. Really, many people consume a long time to do so. Even in some scenarios until you choose your career path, it’s too late!

To choose your platform, in simple sense, is  to find a subject in which you are really passionate for. The best way to do it, is to keep trying different technologies you may come across to, until you get it. Apart from having passion for a particular subject, one must have abundant knowledge in that subject too! Here are few options from which you can choose as your career.

Entrepreneur

              If you have an innovative business idea, a principle amount or few investors ready to invest  in your idea, the best option is to go towards Entrepreneurship. As obvious, all business ideas has their own risk levels and magnitude, an entrepreneur should calculate and analyse the way through which he can minimize or jump over the risk coming across. Despite the risk, if the business goes  with the right direction, you’ll definitely be RICH! Entrepreneurs Organization, Young Entrepreneur Council, Founders Card, Social Enterprise Alliance and Startup Grind are the major organizations supporting the new entrepreneurs.

Software Developer

              Today in the 21^st century, almost every real life procedure is getting digitalized, software developers plays a crucial role on achieving it. A software developers analyses and convert any real life work to a language which the machines may understand. If you have a good knowledge of any programming language and good at logics, you are free to be a software developer. Major programming languages currently in use is JAVA, C, C++, C#, Python and Ruby. Software development, embedded system software development, android development are the major fields including in the software developing.

Web Application developer

              The ever growing of the WWW led to a wide demand of web application by every organization. Web Applications provides a platform to gain and share ones opinion and  knowledge despite of the geographical boundaries may come across. The attributes which are essential for a Web Application Developer are creativity, logical sense, good programming ability and having knowledge of multimedia.Programming languages like HTML5, CSS3,JavaScript, PHP, Ajax, JQuery, XML and XHTML currently are most extensively used. Hence in order to manage the data, a  DBA(Database Admin.) is appointed to a Database or a set of Databases. The major role of the DBA is to provide security to the data and make sure that none of the unauthorized client accesses the data without the prior permission by the DBA. Enterprise Database management system (DBMS) are the technology through which the DBA plays their role well efficiently. MS SQL Server, IBM BD2, SAP SyBase ASE, PostgreSQL, Maria DB Enterprise, Oracle are the most common DBMS used throughout the corporate world.

Networking & Hardware

              In terms of connecting to the internet, hardware components play a crucial role. Apart from that even the transmission rate of the bit stream over the network irrespective   to the medium the device is connected to, is also a matter of concern. The faster    and reliable a transmission is the greater is the influence over the client. People from the networking and hardware domain are expected to be good at understanding the network protocols, knowledge of available network hardware and methods of upgrading them, good knowledge in electronic science and understanding of wave’s spectrum. Ethical Hacking

              With modern day communication and transmission comes with modern frauds and  stealth! Offensive hacking is a matter of fact   that is increasing as time runs. These offensive hackers usually for their own benefit hack to other system by illegal means. As a retaliate another hacker from the good side is appointed for assistance. In simple terms an Ethical Hacker is a person who with legal permissions hacks a system for good purposes or to defeat the offensive hacker.
